Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge – Original Wood-Burned & Watercolor Art | 8" x 10.5"
A one-of-a-kind handmade piece inspired by the iconic Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge and the beautiful scenery surrounding the Cape Cod Canal.
I first hand-drew the design directly onto the wood, then carefully wood-burned the bridge and details by hand. After the wood burning was complete, I added layers of watercolor to bring the sky, water and landscape to life.
I also added subtle metallic accents that catch the light and give the piece a beautiful soft shimmer. The metallic details can be difficult to capture in photographs, but they really come alive in natural sunlight.
The entire piece, including the back, has been sealed with Rust-Oleum protective spray, making it suitable for hanging indoors or in a protected outdoor area.
Each piece I create is individually drawn, burned and painted by hand, so no two will ever be exactly alike.
